I wrote this a few years ago and in light of the events happening around the globe – deadly viruses, natural disasters, helicopter crashes, threats of war and the list goes on – I am reminded of the fragility of life and vulnerability of mankind!

A flame is lit
Another snuffed out
A new life born
Another gone
Dreams are made
Life happens
What is, becomes
What was
What could have been
Can never be
Live & love
Cherish every moment
In the blink of an eye
God gives and takes
Every blink is a gift
It’s God’s grace
Make the most
Of every blink of the eye
Because at the final blink memories are all we have left.
