From January 1 (evening) to 4 (midday), I truly felt what Paul wrote about in 2 Corinthians chapter 12 verse 9 – God’s grace in perfect weakness 🙏❤️

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

Thank God for those who invented two things: drips, without which I’d be skin & bones today & pullups, never have I ever dreamed I’d be needing them so soon but they helped during many an uncontrolled bowel movement moment 😅 over the past few days. I’m laughing about it now, but it wasn’t pleasant when it happened, trust me.

So the price of a lovely, enjoyable trip back to Papua New Guinea to visit with family has been a serious case of gastro! In my mother tongue it’s simply hekukuri!!
A hospital stay now turning into it’s 5th day today 06.01.2023, countless rounds of drips & antibiotics, medications, injections, tests etc later, I’m able to sit up, eat well & proper, converse with family, & of course get back on social media, yayyyy 🤗
That’s how this 1st week of 2023 has panned out for me. And I thank God for this experience, a timely reminder that, it is only when we are at our lowest or weakest we are truly able to realise that God’s grace is sufficient. Thank you God 🙏❤️
My family and I are forever grateful for God’s protection and for bringing us safely home from PNG 🙏 and for the doctors and nurses here who have and are continuing to take care of myself and the revolving door of patients – it’s never ending, I have so much respect for them ❤️ 🙏
And lastly but not the least thank you God for the love and support of my family ❤️
