Wk2-23: God’s faithfulness 🙏

Heberu 13.5-6 MOTU
Lalomui ai moni basio hekisehekise henia, a dekemui ai mimia ḡaudia na bavabi, asi karikarimui; badina be Dirava eto, Lau na basina negemu bona basina rakatanimu, lasi ona lasi vaitani. Taunabunai, mai goadada ida baitato, Lohiabada be egu hekaha, Lau na hasina gari; Taunimanima ese ede bae hadikagu toma?

If God is for us, who can be against us? What can mere mortals do to us? Amen to that 🙏 Lying in a hospital bed, especially in the dead of night, listening to the beeping sounds of hospital machines, an alarm at one point when some patient thought it was OK to just ‘up and leave’ 🤷 – never mind the countless cords, wires etc connected to him or her, setting off alarms. You can imagine the mad rush happening.

Anyway, it’s not pleasant sleeping in hospitals, no matter how comfortable the beds are or how lovely the nurses may be! I’m speaking for myself, others may feel otherwise. Everyday, I asked the question, when can I leave? I raise my hats to the doctors and nurses, who try their very best to answer that particular question without causing too much anxiety for the patient.

Hebrews 13:5‭-‬6 NKJV
Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

All that aside, I’m well, you’re healthy, we’re all alive because of who God is! Not because of what he has done, can do or will do for us at some point nor the little faith we claim to have but because of God’s faithfulness ❤️

I hope we all understand and believe that. God’s grace and faithfulness is because He was, is and will always be the great I Am! Blessed be the name of the Lord forever 🙏
