Strength

I wrote this piece about strength back in early 2022, when I was struggling in my mind – trying to come to terms with the happenings of 2021, especially towards the end and what the future held for us. The God we serve is truly an amazing God!

When you’re going through difficult times – don’t rely on your own strength and wisdom, pray earnestly to God for these. And then LET GO, and LET GOD! β€οΈπŸ™

Psalms 8:1‭-‬4 NKJV
O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens! Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, Because of Your enemies, That You may silence the enemy and the avenger. When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?

Strength is not determined by size;
Knowledge, not by the papers you graduate with;
Wisdom is a blessing from above;
Respect must always be earned;
Hardwork is getting your hands dirty;
Intelligence is finding the right balance between all of the above.

Not too much, nor too little
Just the right balance for you.

For we all have and also need;
A little strength;
Some knowledge;
Loads of wisdom;
To earn the respect we deserve;
Through hard work!
And be intelligent enough to

Recognise and appreciate;
All of that in others, too!

We’re all human;
Created by the same master craftsman;
We’re all children of God;
What a wonderful world it would be;
If we all see each other as that;
Children of the Most High God!
