1 Corinthians 1:25 NIV
[25] For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.
This verse is a timely and powerful reminder of God’s sovereignty and wisdom. In a world where people often rely and boast on their own strength and intelligence, it’s easy to forget that God’s ways are higher than ours.
It humbles us, reminding us that our wisdom and strength are limited, but God’s wisdom and strength are infinite. It’s a call to surrender our pride and self-sufficiency, acknowledging that we need God’s guidance and wisdom to navigate life and its challenges.

There are many lost and confused souls seeking to find their way, often trying to rely on their own abilities rather than turning to God, to the extent of mockingΒ believers and ultimately God. This verse encourages us, Christians, to point or lead them to the wisdom of God, found in Jesus Christ.
The message of Jesus’ death and resurrection, the cross βοΈ, may appear weak and foolish to some, but it holds the power of God’s wisdom π. Yet, understanding this truth can be difficult without the help of the Holy Spirit, who Jesus promised to guide and empower His followers and also us in this day and age.

As we navigate life’s challenges and encounter those who mock God, we need the Holy Spirit’s presence in our lives. On our own, we’re inadequate, but with God, we’re reminded that His weakness is stronger than human strength, Amen!
A prayer from YouVersion!
God, I am in awe of You! The problems of the world around us can be frightening, but You are greater than our problems. I’m so grateful we can always count on You. Your will is perfect, and Your plans are good. Your power is perfected in our weakness, and it is greater than any situation we might face. Thank You for showing us Your faithfulness every day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
