Good gifts 🎁 Week 13 – 2025

Who doesn’t love receiving gifts? However, when it comes to giving them, not everyone shares the same enthusiasm. I must admit, I’m not the most skilled gift-giver. Ask my family, and they’ll confirm that my gifts are often… interesting! 😅

Putting my questionable gift-giving abilities aside, I’d like to share a more meaningful treasure with you – our memory verse for the week:

Luke 12:32 NIV

[32] “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.

This verse reminds me that as children of God, we are part of a “little flock” that’s been graciously gifted the kingdom. As we navigate this broken world, we must be aware of our own fears and weaknesses. Yet, be encouraged knowing that God’s pleasure rests in Jesus, the perfect sacrifice for our imperfections.

This promise gives us hope beyond what we can see and helps us persevere in faith: faith in God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit, our companion ❤️🙏

James 1:17-18 NIV

[17] Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. [18] He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.

Let’s not forget that every new day is a divine gift from God, a reminder that our very lives are a treasure from Him. May we cherish and honor this gift, never taking it for granted.

To God be the glory always 🙏
