I’ve been following this page ‘letters of annawin’ on social media. They have some beautiful & meaningful content, including the one below:

This poem hits home. It’s biblical, too.
Psalms 139:1, 13-14 NIV
[1] You have searched me, Lord, and you know me.
[13] For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. [14] I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
So, where do you anchor your sense of worth, value, and identity? Is it in your relationships, academic achievements, career, or financial security? These external factors can be unpredictable. If you’ve found a stable sense of self, that’s great! 👏

But shouldn’t our core identity remain unchanged? I believe it should. As the poem suggests, and as Psalms 139 affirms, our value and identity should be rooted in Love Himself. The Bible teaches us that GOD IS LOVE ❤️
1 John 4:8 NIV
[8] Whoever does not love does not know God because God is love.
To help us understand, let’s take a look at the story of Zacchaeus in Luke 19. In brief, Zacchaeus was a tax collector who wasn’t well-liked by his community. When he heard Jesus was in town, he eagerly followed the crowd, but his short stature made it difficult for him to see. Determined, he climbed a tree, and that’s when Jesus noticed him, leading to a life-changing encounter.
I encourage you to read the full story. Here are two verses from Luke 19:
Luke 19:9-10 NIV
[9] Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. [10] For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

Jesus’ declaration that Zaccheus’ salvation is based on his status as “a son of Abraham” holds profound implications. By emphasizing identity over actions, Jesus reinforces the truth that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, not a reward for our good works.
His words also reinforce God’s promise to Abraham, where all people – Jews and Gentiles alike – are considered Abraham’s children and, ultimately, God’s. Amen! We are all God’s children and recipients of His boundless grace.
Our shared humanity means we are sinners, lost to the world, and in need of redemption. Jesus’ mission was clear: to seek and save the lost, recognizing our intrinsic value as God’s beloved children.
John 3:16 NIV
[16] For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

May we live confident in God’s love and grace and the hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Saviour.
Prayer:
Thank You, Father, for loving us even when we choose to ignore Your grace and mercy and to sin against You.
Thank you for sending your beloved Son who died on the cross for our sins and saving us!In Jesus name, Amen ❤️🙏
Coming full circle, I’ll end with another inspiring poem by ‘letters of annawin’. Remember, our true identity is anchored in Love Himself, so rest in God’s plan and trust in His timing 🙌

To God be the glory always 🙏
