50 years of PNG, come September 2025 🇵🇬❤️. From the outside looking in, it’s easy to focus on the challenges and agree with critics. But I receive and see pictures and videos from home, my family – that tell of a different story! Simple village lives, smiling in spite of their daily struggles – showing strength and resilience. That’s what gives me hope for a better PNG 🙏.

Celebrating 50 years isn’t just about GoPNG or some political milestones, etc; it’s about everyday heroes, many who have been called to glory – the simple villagers back home, teachers, doctors, nurses, honest public servants, policemen and women, soldiers and many more etc who keep going despite the odds stacked against them. Our diverse culture, traditions, and most importantly, the people are what truly define PNG.

Even from afar, my roots remain strong in these humble beginnings – something I am and will always be proud of. And THAT my friends is what I’ll be celebrating come September 2025 – my humble PNG roots, with the hope to inspire generations of PNGans to dream big, look beyond their circumstances, see the good, and strive for a better PNG ❤️🇵🇬

2 Corinthians 4:7-10 NIV
[7] But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. [8] We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; [9] persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. [10] We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.
