“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” — Winston Churchill
Stepping outside of comfort zones is challenging & scary! But once you do it, once you challenge yourself & go beyond your limits (not someone else’s but your own) it’s refreshing & uplifting as it adds one more rung so you can move up on the success ladder.
So for me success should be a ladder that one must build – not a goal that one has to work hard towards. Every achievement be they great or small is a step up.
In addition, where the ladder stands or it’s base is also important. Faith, family & true friends who surround you are a good source of a strong foundation. Never look beyond that!!
Bottom line – you are the owner of your success ladder. Define your own success ladder, not someone else’s. If you find yourself wanting or lacking, maybe you’ve stacked your ladder on wrong foundations, maybe a step or rung is missing because you overlooked it, maybe it’s not meant to be on your ladder, who knows – only you yourself will know. It’s your ladder, own it, fight for it & appreciate it!!!”
