It is so hard to comprehend why anyone would do such evil things! So many innocent lives – so many heartbroken families. A million questions but the one resounding in my head which I’m sure is on everyone else’s is WHY?
Lives have been lost, yet the debate is on guns? WHY? Why is focus on that, rather than on HUMAN LIVES? Why do guns become so important than human lives? A gun is a gun – as long as it remains hanging on someone’s wall, it is a gun! It becomes a killing weapon when A HUMAN puts their fingers on and pulls the triggers! So WHY???
Oh how cruel and unfair life is: my child came home from school! Someone’s didn’t! :(:( My spouse came home from work! Someone’s didn’t!:(:( Why? Why? Why?
I don’t think I’ll ever understand! One thing for sure evil is everywhere, and as humans we are prone to it. And we are susceptible to blaming everything & everyone else except our own human weaknesses 😭😔! Even God!! We question God & we forget to look into our own hearts. What are we holding close to our hearts??
I wrote this a few years back, when something similar happened, can’t remember what year. I titled it God’s little Angels”
God’s Little Angels
“Looking around
Hearing of & feeling
These sense of loss
Of helplessnessSuch young lives cut short
Wondering & asking
Minds full of questions
So unfair 😢One thing for sure
Heavens corridors are filled
With so many little angels 😇
Smiling down on a torn worldAnd praying that those
Left behind can
Still find peace amidst all these tragedyThat forgiveness & repentance
May prevail in this time of loss
That peace, love & hope will prevail over hatePeace in a world torn apart by wars & senseless shootings
Love in a world full of prejudices
