Mataio 24.35 (Motu)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Reading through the Bible over the past few weeks and devotionals from various writers had me thinking about God’s Word. This first verse from the gospel of John teaches us that God’s Word was already in existence from the beginning of time – and the Word was God.
When we read Genesis chapter one about Creation – every line in which God is creating something starts with “God said…”! God spoke the world into existence. And not just that, we also read that, after each creation, God named them and then saw that “it was good”.
God’s Word is powerful! God’s Word has been in existence even before all creation. And God created man in His own image, provided him with a helper, woman, to look after and tend His beautiful and good creation. And the Bible also teaches us this;
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Matthew 24:35 (KJV)
Everything under the sun, both man-made and divinely created, is temporary, God’s Word, however, is eternal! To God be the glory always, Amen 🙏❤️
