Jumping on the IWD bandwagon, here’s to all the women I know, have known and will know in future. Women in my family, both immediate and extended, those I have worked with and for, friends, schoolmates, course mates, and many, many more. Happy international women’s day!! ā¤ļøš.

Mother or grandmother
She's someone's daughter
Sister or cousin
Someone's aunty
She's my daughter

Before she becomes anything else
She's family
Equity starts at home!
It's on us therefore
To raise generations of women and men too
Who will not tolerate injustice of any form
And a future where women thrive
Independent and strong
Equally beside men
