Life is fleeting
Idauhahine, Aug’23
One minute you’re here
The next you’re gone
A smile is deceiving
It reflects happiness
And hides pain
Family is everything
Be they blood or not
A blessing from above
Death is not final
Defeated by Christ
On the cross βοΈ
In Jesus’ grace we hope
His Spirit comfort us
God’s love abounds
A pendulum of emotions, this past couple of months – from joy, to sorrow, grief, hopelessness, faith-questioning despair, peace and so on.
Joy at answered prayers; despair, to see loved ones suffering in pain and finally succumbing to their illness; peace to know they are finally free of enormous pain.
I felt all that from afar – I can never fathom the pain, heartache and sorrow, that the immediate families went through, are experiencing right now and will continue to encounter as the days turn into weeks, months and years ππ
I don’t think I’ll ever be able to understand the path they trod, seeing it all unravel infront of them! I can only offer prayers, that our good Lord will comfort, protect and heal their broken hearts πβ€οΈ
Life most certainly is fleeting! Only in God, through His Son Jesus, can we find hope, peace and comfort
Iehova e abidadama heniamu tauna na namo; ena heabidadama na Iehova.
Ieremia 17.7 Motu
βBlessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord.
Jeremiah 17:7 NKJV
