Let go, let God! ❤️ 2024 – Week 27

Isaiah 40:8 NIV‬
The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.”

Time is flying by at an astonishing pace! Don’t you think? I most certainly do think so. The first half of 2024 has already come and gone in the blink of an eye. It’s mind-boggling to think that the remaining weeks will likely pass just as quickly, and before we know it, we’ll be ringing in a brand new year!

I wonder what the next six months have in store for us – will they bring new adventures, opportunities, or challenges? Only time will tell!

One thing for sure is that the first half of 2024 has taught me a valuable lesson! And that is, when we surrender our worries and fears and let God guide us, He expands our perspective, opening our heart, mind, and soul to see beyond the present moment. He unlocks doors we never thought to knock on, presenting opportunities we never imagined! And when these opportunities arise, be ready to embrace them with open arms.

I’ve also learned that rejection is a valuable teacher: a humbling lesson and helping us understand the power of surrender, embodied in the phrase ‘Let go! Let God!’

I recall assisting at church, setting up and decorating the hall for the Equip 2024 conference last weekend. Only later did I realise the significance of this particular centrepiece.
It wasn’t my handiwork, but rather the creative work of a wonderful woman from church.
This reminds me that even when things seem unclear, we shouldn’t lose heart. In God’s perfect timing, understanding will come, and purposes will be revealed. Keep trusting in Him

At the start of 2024, I wrote about obedience to God’s will, seeking to understand His purpose for me and walking in alignment with His plans. Although I’ve faltered and failed in my attempts at obedience, God’s grace and mercy have been unwavering and boundless.

It’s truly amazing to see and believe that God’s character remains constant throughout history, unchanged by our personal struggles, triumphs, or circumstances external to us. While we face changes and challenges – like the two redundancies I have experienced in 24 months – God remains steadfast, unchanging, and sovereign.

What are you waiting for? Surrender to the God of miracles and let Him guide you beyond your limited vision and plans. Let go and let God direct your journey, and watch Him work wonders in your life! 🙏

Proverbs 3:1-3 NIV‬

[1] My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, [2] for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity. [3] Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.

To God be the glory always 🙏 ❤️
